Ever since I formatted I've been getting this error. I tried reinstalling and deleting the temporary folders (that I had backed up before formatting) and stuff, the error keeps popping up every time I try to run WoW.
This is the same pc that ran the game like 4 days ago so I'm having a really hard time trying to convince myself that it's a hardware issue.
Anyone of you got some realistic suggestions, from experience or something? And yes, I did google it. |

| I had exactly the same problem, tried all kind of different things and ended up formatting my computer, that solved my problem. |

| Clean your computer that is error message what says that some part inside of your computer warm up. It shuold help. |

@smokeyt: As I said the error came up after reinstalling WoW after formatting, so I doubt reformatting is gonna do something :X
@bamela: The error pops up right after I run WoW (through the launcher or with the .exe itself). WoW never starts up so I doubt my pc has the time to overheat in the meantime. It is cleaned up too and the temps are quite low. |

Could be your hard disk that's screwed.
If possible i suggest you try and run the game from another HD or maybe even reinstall your windows on that one as well. |

However, the page does say exactly where the problem is.
Follow the instructions.
Considering this is a reinstall, check if you installed any anti-virus and firewall software, and if so, consider that the specific brand or version may cause problems.
Run all updates otherwise from windows update, if you haven't already.
Lastly if that doesn't help, follow their 9th tip, because you most likely have one or more defective memory chips in your computer. |

My hardware is not faulty, as I said it was running the game just fine. The vga drivers are new and also a fresh/clean install, directX is updated and same goes for all relevant drivers in my pc.
I was using Kaspersky both before the format and now (this one is an original version even that I payed 55 euros for original software is rare in greece )
And I did try removing my Memory chips since last time I got the error (2 years ago in a different pc), the problem was residing there. Now it isn't. And I've already seen these pages. I'm not willing to downclock my pc for only WoW to run, since this is a totally random error that only occurs so often and for so many reasons in their game. I'm sick of blizzard's attitude towards the issue, basically telling people that 2 errors equals one correct. They can go fuck themselves tbh |

Run the memory test for a while regardless. There can be more wrong regarding memory than the module itself - you are looking for evidence of the symptom or at the very least proof that there is nothing wrong there, not a defect in itself. |
